k-5 focus group

I'm currently trying to come up with a format that will apply with k-5 students. This focus group will be a part of my action research project. This research will focus on the using technology tools to develop metacognitive skills in online learners.

The format will obviously start by taking a basic survey that attempts to measure the metacognitive development/awareness of each group member. This data will be documented, and then compared to the data that will be collected at the end of the focus group's activities. The location will more than likely be at the public library. Addressing the idea of "thinking about thinking" with such a young focus group will be interesting.
