Transfer (cognitive domain)

Formative and summative test would be necessary tools for researching how much knowledge is being retained. Assessing the competency of rookie fire fighters during their first six weeks on the job, in comparison to their knowledge expansion after 90 days.

Behavior (psychomotor domain)

Observing how fire fighters apply their skill sets in live drills. This gives the person performing the observation a chance to see what methods are applicable in emergency situations. It also offers an opportunity to discover those motor skills that need refining.

Result (benefits) – return on investment (e.g., may positively impact the greater society)

This is easy. Well trained fire fighters save lives and prevent massive property damage.
